The only thing that comes to mind when hearing the names of these are the competitors of hosting 2 talk shows, but they have nothing other than sharing the love for each other. Oprah Winfrey and Ellen DeGeneres became friends at the 90’s sitcom Ellen. Oprah played the role of Ellen’s therapist in the show. Not only they are best friends but they are neighbors as well. In Montecito, California they both live in mansions. They both have not only appeared in each other’s show but Ellen has also appeared on Winfrey’s magazine’s cover page. Sharing the spotlight is just not a problem for them.

Together with the late comedian Robin Williams, this set of friends were a trio and not a duo. The three of them worked together since the 1980s in Comic Relief, where the money made from the event was given to charity. While paying tribute to Williams Billy Chrystal reflected on their friendship. “Many times, the three of us would be on stage, and Whoopi and I were like his parents and we’d taken the crazy son out,” Crystal continued by adding. “It just became so magical to work with him… But for us, it was a really great chance to get to know each other and we became the closest of friends.”
