Woody Harrelson who was a mutual friend of these two has introduced them to each other. They have a funny incident of having a common stalker, named “John the Orchestra Guy” who would send mass text and was a studio worker.
In an interview with W magazine, Stone mentioned how Jen and Emma texted for over a year before they met. While she was driving to the house, she thought ‘Oh, my God, what if it’s John the Orchestra Guy?’ and the other one had the same thought. Jen then called Stone and told her that she was just calling to confirm that she is not John the Orchestra Guy. She wasn’t and that’s how they met.
14. Lena Dunham & Taylor Swift

Lena Dunham & Taylor Swift
It might be easy to think that these two might not have a lot of things in common. Dunham, who is known for her work in the HBO series Girls and to be the modern voice of feminism, while Swift is a mainstream pop singer. Yet, Swift has made sure to be a social activist too and uses her fame as a platform for important messages. Their friendship is very precious to them both, and according to the Insider, it started on Twitter in 2012 when Lena tweeted praising Taylor Swift’s new album. She Tweeted “If she’d been here when I was in college I would have written papers on her, not Sylvia Plath”. Taylor responded by telling her how she loved Lena’s show Girls on HBO. Everything else is just history now.
