Late 1990s sci-fi movies were a hit. Notable advancements in the genre include Dark City and The Matrix. Another was Starship Troopers. Starship Troopers, directed by Paul Verhoeven, follows a young soldier named Johnny Rico through an interplanetary struggle with an extraterrestrial society called Arachnids. Aside from the massive bug splattering carnage, this sci-fi epic featured several key concepts. It may have fallen flat at the movie office, but it’s humorous social satire on war and fascism has made it a cult favorite. Without an outstanding ensemble cast, the film would not exist. Let’s look at the Troopers’ careers to see who made it onboard Klendathu and who didn’t. Ready?

Starship Troopers Casts Where Are They Now
Casper Van Dien As Johnny Rico
Casper Van Dien, the actor behind the handsome Johnny Rico, must be at the top of the list, of course. It’s safe to say he was fearless, strong, and most all, successful in taking down a large number of dangerous insects. In addition to his courageous fighting talents, Rico had a classic all-American demeanor and appearance that made him appealing to the audience as a whole. It’s almost as if filmmaker Paul Verhoeven was making fun of the conventional action movie hero in this picture. To be clear, Rico was a likable character even before the events in the film!

Casper Van Dien As Johnny Rico
Casper Van Dien Now
It’s safe to assume that Van Dien was at the height of his acting abilities in Starship Troopers. It’s unquestionably what moviegoers will recall him for. This was a real bummer for Van Dien, who had high expectations of having a successful acting career in Hollywood. Tarzan and the Lost City, in which he appeared, did not fare well at the box office. That choice to repeat Rico in the dreadful third Starship Troopers film was another example of his shoddy taste in acting roles. He also featured in Mortal Kombat: Legacy’s second season as Johnny Cage, an arrogant character.

Brenda Strong As Captain Deladier
For the most part, Starship Troopers takes place in space as humanity’s massive spacecraft fought an interplanetary war against the superbugs that lurked in the depths of the galaxy. As Captain Deladier, Brenda Strong guides Zander Barcalow and Carmen Ibanez, through their spacefaring fights against the “Arachnids.” Though she met a terribly cruel end when her ship was blasted to pieces. Strong did an outstanding job portraying a strong, bright, and unflinching female officer on the battlefield.

Brenda Strong As Captain Deladier
Brenda Strong Now
Brenda Strong would be delighted to continue her illustrious playing career, with her next major part in the long-running tv series Desperate Housewives being her largest following Starship Troopers. Strong received two Emmy nominations for her performance as Mary Alice Young. Strong has appeared in episodes of Fear the Walking Dead and Supergirl, amongst others. Her yoga treatment films, in which she helps women as well as couples conceive, are among her less well-known works.

Brenda Strong Now
Amy Smart As Pilot Cadet Stack Lumbrezer
Amy Smart’s performance in the action-sci-fi epic was noteworthy even though she didn’t have the most prominent role. Smart portrayed the character of a pilot cadet named Stack Lumbrezer, the buddy on the starship and bridge-mate of Carmen Ibanez who was played by Denise Richards. Smart successfully played the part of Pilot Cadet Stack Lumbrezer, who exhibited some real female strength during her astral battle for survival. After acing her tasks, Smart’s character was promoted to the rank of lieutenant and was given command of her own starship.

Amy Smart As Pilot Cadet Stack Lumbrezer
Amy Smart Now
While Smart’s performance in this sci-fi movie wowed critics and fans alike, her acting career stagnated until she secured the main part in the funny rom-com Road Trip in 2001. Her career took off in the early 2000s when she appeared in films like The Butterfly Effect, Crank, Starsky & Hutch, and Rat Race as a female protagonist. Smart was in high demand. The funny Macbeth adaptation Scotland, PA was also a part of Smart’s filmography. However, Smart hasn’t been in many recent films.

Amy Smart Now
Blake Lindsley As Katrina McIntire
Starship Troopers’ fascism-inspired military unit, the Federal Service, was not comprised entirely of cold-blooded killers. For some characters, such as Blake Lindsley’s Katrina McIntire, the privilege of receiving a birth certificate was all they desired so that they could begin the process of becoming a mother. Unfortunately, McIntire’s parental instincts did not translate well into warfare as she fled away from a warrior bug in fear and was ultimately devoured by it. Lindsley, on the other hand, did an excellent job with her performance.

Blake Lindsley As Katrina McIntire
Blake Lindsley Now
While Lindsley might not be as high profile an actress as her Starship Troopers costars, that doesn’t mean that she did not enjoy a full acting career. She appeared in some small roles in other notable films, like Inside Me, Coastlines, and David Lynch’s mind-bending Mulholland Drive. Lindsley also lent her voice acting skills to Star Trek: Klingon Academy, a video game based on the legendary sci-fi franchise. He acting career came to an end when she tied the knot with Stephen Nemeth in 2010.

Blake Lindsley Now
Neil Patrick Harris As Carl Jenkins
While there were a number of lesser-known performers in the Starship Troopers ensemble, Neil Patrick Harris was already a well-known actor by the time he took on the role of Carl Jenkins in the film. You’re most likely familiar with him from the television series Doogie Howser, in which he played the eponymous and endearing character. His roles in Starship Troopers was that of an initially cheerful and easygoing teenager with psychic abilities who eventually develops into a stern and strong Military Intelligence member. Jenkins utilizes his psychic abilities to track out the location of the Brain Bug in the last part of the film.

Neil Patrick Harris As Carl Jenkins
Neil Patrick Harris Now
As a result of his abilities as a comic actor, Neil Patrick Harris ended up having one of the most successful and acclaimed careers of all his Starship Troopers co-stars. After the bug-slaying adventure, he starred as Barney Stinson in the 2000s comedy How I Met Your Mother. As one of the show’s five primary characters, he portrayed a womanizing and boisterous businessman here. Harris is most known for his role in the long-running sitcom, where he was frequently quoted.

Neil Patrick Harris Now
Jake Busey As Ace Levy
As Academy Award-nominated actor Gary Busey’s son, Jake Busey was raised in the life of luxury. In 1978, he made his debut performance as a young guy in Straight Time, a role that almost immediately cemented his status as a successful film actor. Ace Levy, the cheeky and carefree trooper of hero Johnny Rico’s company, served mostly as comedic relief in the film Starship Troopers, which he co-starred in. Although Ace is not a fighter, this does not rule out the possibility of his winning a duel.

Jake Busey As Ace Levy
Jake Busey Now
During the 1980s and 1990s, Busey had a highly active acting career, and he rose to the status of a late-twentieth-century legend. In the 2000s, Busey’s career took a minor downturn, but he did make many guest appearances on notable television programs such as Dusk till Dawn: The Series, in which he portrayed Aiden Tanner, and The Walking Dead. One of his most recent significant performances was in the horror sci-fi thriller The Predator, which came out in 2018. Busey also likes making cameo appearances from time to time, as he did in the blockbuster Netflix series Stranger Things.

Jake Busey Now
Tami-Adrian George As Djana’D
The film Starship Troopers has a number of startling and unsettling scenes, but one of the most visceral is a gory sequence involving actress Tami-Adrian George’s character Djana’D. A training practice went horribly wrong when politically-minded recruit Djana’D at the Mobile Industry boot camp unintentionally shot a coworker. Her career came to an abrupt and brutal end after that. As the humiliated Djana’D, George gave a realistically guilt-filled, though brief, performance. He should have stayed longer. Contrary to her character’s military service, Tami-Adrian George’s acting career was as brief as her character’s military service.

Tami Adrian George As Djana D
Tami-Adrian George Now
While Tami-Adrian George had a strong performance in the sci-fi movie, she would leave the industry not long after completing the project. George has only made a few more appearances since her role as Djana’D was cast in the show. Both Michelle’s High School Reunion and Romy were successful box-office hits, and she appeared in both of those films. Many reviewers were taken aback by George’s decision to leave the performing world; they saw her as a gifted actress who appeared to be on the cusp of a successful career. George eventually married Eric Bruskotter, the actor who portrayed the character whom Djana’D inadvertently murdered in Starship Troopers, in yet another ironic turn of events!

Tami Adrian George Now
Clancy Brown As Sergeant Zim
Known for his gruff and masculine acting style, Clancy Brown has a long history of playing military officers, villains, and political figures. He’s a big, burly guy with a serious expression on his face, and has a deep voice – all of which make him an excellent choice for the drill instructor job in Starship Troopers’ boot camp as Commander Zim. He’s excellent. When he finally caught the king bug, Zim proved to be a huge hero in the blockbuster, despite his initial unlikability.

Clancy Brown As Sergeant Zim
Clancy Brown Now
Clancy Brown has maintained his illustrious career despite his memorable and violent performance as Commander Zim in Starship Troopers. He was able to broaden his range by not playing the big bad guy all the time. It’s possible you’ve never heard of him, but he voiced SpongeBob SquarePants’ Mr. Krabs! And he’s now doing Lex Luthor in the DC animated universe. Brown has a great attitude about his work and takes pride in every position he plays, no matter how little.

Clancy Brown Now
Dina Meyer As Dizzy Flores
Johnny Rico’s tragic love interest, Isabella “Dizzy” Flores, was played by the stunning Dina Meyer, and her moving performance deserves praise. To be with the guy she finally falls in love with, Dizzy Flores enlisted in Rico’s regiment. One of the most tragic scenes in the film is when an insect accidentally kills Dizzy after the human warriors have won a decisive battle. Fans of Starship Troopers hoped that Meyer would return since she made such an impression on them.

Dina Meyer As Dizzy Flores
Dina Meyer Now
While Dizzy may have revered Rico, the dynamic between the characters’ players was very different. Meyer’s career soared, but Van Dien’s was doomed to failure. In movies such as Evil Within and Saw, the fiery redhead has been acknowledged by Hollywood as a horror superstar. Aside from film and television roles, Meyer has been in a slew of popular shows, including Castle, CSI, and Friends. Meyer hasn’t slowed down his pace and is still putting in long hours in the sector.

Dina Meyer Now
Ungela Brockman As Corporal Birdie
Ungela Brockman portrays Corporal Birdie, a no-nonsense and fearless soldier who takes a rigorous approach to soldiering and has a particularly gruesome scene in the film that audiences will remember. Lieutenant Rasczak, Birdie and Rico’s unit commanding officer, holds a special place in the corporal’s heart because the grizzled lieutenant previously saved his own life by saving hers. Lieutenant Rasczak miraculously spared Corporal Birdie’s life twice when she is struck by a huge jet of flame blasted by a Tanker Bug.

Ungela Brockman As Corporal Birdie
Ungela Brockman Now
After her role in Starship Troopers, Ungela Brockman’s acting career went nowhere, much like her co-star Tami-Adrian George’s. Brockman had appeared in the failure Showgirls in 1995 before landing the part of the invincible corporal in Paul Verhoeven’s sci-fi masterpiece. Brockman’s filmography also includes roles in Showgirls, Starship Troopers, and Mystery Man. Brockman’s final performance as Corporal Birdie was the final nail in the coffin for her acting career. Let’s hope she’s happy and successful in a new field.

Ungela Brockman Now
Seth Gilliam As Sergeant Sugar Watkins
Sergeant Sugar Watkins, a vicious warrior who enters the picture midway through the battle, was played by Seth Gilliam. Sergeant Sugar, like Corporal Birdie, has a deep reverence for Lieutenant Rasczak. After Sergeant Sugar sacrifices himself to save Rico and his squad from being captured, the movie ends with Sergeant Sugar being shot and killed. Atkins’ character evolved from a frighteningly cruel one in the beginning to a heroically unselfish one at the end of the story.

Seth Gilliam As Sergeant Sugar Watkins
Seth Gilliam Now
Few viewers knew Seth Gilliam when he made his Starship Troopers appearance late in the film’s run. Gilliam has previously appeared in five tiny roles in five different short films before the sci-fi epic. Thanks to his performance as Sergeant Sugar, Gilliam went on to have a great career as a television actor. He appeared in a number of films and television shows, including Law & Order, Bull, The Good Wife, and Teen Wolf. The renowned criminal thriller Breaking Bad included him as well.

Seth Gilliam Now
Patrick Muldoon As Zander Barcalow
In Starship Troopers, Johnny Rico has to deal with more than just enormous deadly bugs; his high school girlfriend, Carmen, subsequently meets Patrick Muldoon’s dashing Zander Barcalow. In the film, Barcalow and Carmen share a spacecraft and develop a deadly attraction to one another. Although Barcalow was a kind man, we were relieved when he was brutally killed by the Brain Bug’s horrific brain-sucking onslaught. The two hotties soon find themselves fighting for Carmen’s attention.

Patrick Muldoon As Zander Barcalow
Patrick Muldoon Now
Muldoon was able to carve out a decent leading man role in Hollywood as a result of his sophisticated demeanor, faultless good looks, and steely charisma. Although he had previously been in prominent TV series such as Days of Our Lives and Melrose Place, it is true that Starship Troopers was indeed one of his first notable roles. Besides being a remarkably skilled musician, Muldoon is also a member of The Sleeping Masses, a band that he founded. Later in his career, he appeared in films such as Ice Spiders and Project Viper.

Patrick Muldoon Now
Michael Ironside As Jean Rasczak
An inspirational and experienced leader is a must-have in any combat film, and actor Michael Ironside delivered just that as Lieutenant Jean Rasczak. As a philosophy professor and officer throughout the film, the character serves as a mentor to Rico. Starship Troopers’ Ironside was an inspirational and authoritative figure, which only served to heighten the tragedy of his untimely demise. After that, the remainder of the troops must fend for themselves in the strange world without his guidance.

Michael Ironside As Jean Rasczak
Michael Ironside Now
Michael Ironside, who was far senior than many of his Starship Troopers co-stars, was a well-known and successful actor before landing the part of Captain America. He can portray uncompromising heroes as well as wicked villains, proving his versatility as an actor. Seen in such films as X-Men: First Class, Total Recall, and Top Gun, he is one of Hollywood’s finest. He’s appeared in Sea Quest, The Flash, ER to name a few. He’s also a model. In my opinion, Ironside is one of the finest performers of his age and has been for a long time.

Michael Ironside Now
Marshall Bell As General Owen
Rico’s squad enters a tiny stronghold known as “Whiskey Outpost” during the Starship Troopers’ cast’s journey on the insect world at one point in the adventure. They arrive to discover the devastating fortress entirely devoid of human life, with the exception of the trembling General Owen, played by Marshall Bell, as the only survivor. This character offered some much-needed comedic relief in a film that was otherwise rather tough going, and his demise was one of the more amusing moments of the film overall. Bell did a fantastic job as the timid yet condescending general in the film.

Marshall Bell As General Owen
Marshall Bell Now
In part because of his histrionic performance in Starship Troopers and his anxious-looking physical appearance, Marshall Bell is frequently cast as a neurotic character in films and television shows. In The Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy’s Revenge, he had previously appeared as a villain. A few years after his appearance in the iconic extraterrestrial bug-killing film. Bell also starred on television in The Congressmen, The Final Season, and The Bling Ring. More recently, he appeared in the romantic comedy Love Is Love Is Love, in which he played the lead role.

Marshall Bell Now
Eric Bruskotter As Breckinridge
Breckinridge was brought to life by Eric Bruskotter, who played the lovely but doomed figure. In this case, he was a regular guy who made the decision to join the Mobile Infantry, something that would ultimately cost him his life. Bruskotter effectively conveyed the impression that Breckinridge wasn’t the brightest bulb in the chandelier, as he decided that he couldn’t wait to leave a training practice with live ammo before removing his helmet off his head. As previously stated, Djana’D then makes the error of shooting at Breckinridge, causing him to die on the spot.

Eric Bruskotter As Breckinridge
Eric Bruskotter Now
Bruskotter, like most of his co-stars, was a well-known actor throughout the 1990s, notably in the realm of television shows. He had an appearance in the television show Beverly Hills, 90210. For his previous film appearances, Starship Troopers looked to be the pinnacle of his filmography, as he only starred in five other films following this one, none of which were especially compelling in their own right. As a result of the demise of his film career, Bruskotter began helping at the Best Friends Animal Society. He’s also a married man. Congratulations to him!

Eric Bruskotter Now
Matt Levin As Kitten Smith
Starship Troopers included an extraordinary number of well-developed characters, all of whom were assigned to the Mobile Infantry, which served as the bug-fighting force throughout the whole film. Camp Currie recruit Kitten Smith (Matt Levin) learns the hard way that battling aliens is no funny matter when he is forced to battle them. Levin’s character doesn’t really possess the warrior spirit, preferring to be more of an intellectual, and Levin did an excellent job of fleshing out the many characteristics of this complicated character.

Matt Levin As Kitten Smith
Matt Levin Now
Levin had a lot of experience with television before he was cast in the sci-fi thriller The Matrix Reloaded. He subsequently went on to feature in several lesser-known films such as Blossom and Family Ties, before returning to television. His most successful and well-recognized works include his dubbing roles in popular children’s animation series such as Scooby-Doo and Rugrats, as well as in feature films. Levin is also a prominent film producer, having worked on films such as Fatherhood, Brockmire, and The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, among others. Levin has embarked on nearly 50 projects since 1985, despite the fact that he does not appear in the media very often.

Anthony Ruivivar As Shujimi
Anthony Ruivivar plays a figure named Shujimi, a member of the infantry, in Starship Troopers. Rather than risk his life in the lethal claws of scary alien bugs, this educated and brilliant guy would rather study at Harvard. The exorbitant expense of Shujimi’s schooling was too much for him to bear. The brilliant aspirant soldier enrolled in the Mobile Infantry in order to save money for school. He would never get the chance to enter Harvard since Shuijimi was killed in action on the planet Klendathu.

Anthony Ruivivar Now
Ruivivar was born in Hawaii, as you may not have known. His next part would come in 1999, a year after he made an impact in Starship Troopers. After that, he played as a paramedic in Third Watch. The medical drama became a wonderful moment in the actor’s life because he met and married Yvonne Jung while filming the show. They’ve since had a second child. The actor is well-known for his work as a cop, having been in shows including CSI, Quantico, Numb3rs, and Criminal Minds.

Anthony Ruivivar Now
Dean Norris As The Commanding Officer
There is no one better than Norris to take on the character of a tough and macho leader. Norris was cast in the character of the unnamed “Commanding Officer,” in which he demonstrated his ability to be a ruthless and unscrupulous leader. Of course, Norris was familiar with this type of role, having previously appeared in films as police officers and military figures. His most famous moment was without a doubt the one in which he smacked Rico many times. It’s one thing to send hundreds of young troops to their terrible deaths, but don’t even think about slapping Rico in the face!

Dean Norris As The Commanding Officer
Dean Norris Now
After this sci-fi movie, Norris had a long and fruitful acting career as a police officer. It’s as if he was once a cop himself. T Total Recall, Lethal Weapon 2, and The Terminator 2, franchises have all included him. Obviously, Norris is best known for his role as DEA agent Hank Schrader on AMC’s Breaking Bad, a show that has become an international phenomenon. He became somewhat of a meme since he was among the show’s outstanding characters in the eyes of the viewers. Norris has appeared on The Big Bang Theory and CSI as a guest star.

Dean Norris Now
Robert David Hall As The Recruiting Sergeant
A darkly comic performance by Robert David Hall as “The Recruiting Sergeant” was one of the numerous darkly funny performances in the film. It was Hall’s character, a weird and starry-eyed military officer with a mechanical prosthetic limb and leg, who had to be passed through before the soldiers from the Starship Troopers could ever set foot in boot camp. With his gruesome (if not funny) injuries, he demonstrates to the new recruits what they are in for when they join the army. Hall expressed his appreciation for the comic infusion that he supplied to what was otherwise a dreary movie experience.

Robert David Hall As The Recruiting Sergeant
Robert David Hall Now
Hall’s acting career continued after Starship Troopers was completed, although in minor parts. He has roles in films like The Negotiator and shows like The West Wing and LA Law. The Roymann Closure has to be Hall’s best role yet. In addition, he narrated the documentary series North Mission Road as its narrator. Hall, who is also a real-life amputee, has abilities that go well beyond acting. His musical talents extend to the piano, mandolin, and guitar, among other instruments. Take time to listen to some of his work!

Robert David Hall Now
Rue McClanahan As The Biology Teacher
Rue McClanahan was a renowned actress who portrayed “The Biology Teacher,” a faceless but popular figure. McClanahan was a well-known actress in the 1970s and 1980s; younger viewers may not remember her. At the beginning of the film, McClanahan’s sequence set the tone for the gore that would follow as her pupils, including Rico, conducted experiments on grizzled animals. McClanahan’s involvement in the film was little, but it was a delight for those who like classic Hollywood.

Rue McClanahan As The Biology Teacher
Rue McClanahan Now
McClanahan, who was 76 years old when he died in 2010, was a beloved actor. Her death was deeply felt, but we have a lifetime’s worth of her incredible performances to reflect on and enjoy. She was a Golden Globe-winning actress and the star of the successful comedy Golden Girls. McClanahan was a regular on the program from 1985 to 1992, and he earned acclaim for his work. After she concluded filming on The Golden Girls, McClanahan’s career suffered a downturn, and she went on to appear in mostly supporting roles. Still, she worked until a year before she died.

Rue McClanahan Now
Christopher Curry As Mr. Rico
Christopher Curry plays our hero’s wealthy and judgmental father, Mr. Rico. Mr. Rico has a little role in the movie, appearing just briefly on screen, but his presence served to highlight the contrast between the mundane suburban lives of the civilians and the terrifying military world. His father disapproves instantly when Rico tells him he wishes to become part of the Mobile Infantry, knowing well well that his son may possibly die in agony far from home.

Christopher Curry As Mr Rico
Christopher Curry Now
In addition to Curry, another venerable actor from the golden age of Hollywood has passed away at the age of seventy. Since his appearance in the 2016 picture Sully, he hasn’t been in anything else on the big screen. Since the early 2000s, most of his work has been on television. As a guest star, he’s been on shows including Glee and Castle as well as BlackBoxTV. Despite the fact that Curry isn’t as active as he once was, we believe that he’s earned his retirement after such a long and fruitful career.

Christopher Curry Now
Lenore Kasdorf As Mrs. Rico
Given that we’ve just discussed Mr. Rico, let’s talk about Mrs. Rico, who is played by the stunning Lenore Kasdorf. Mrs. Rico was likewise only a minor player in the overall plot of the movie, but she left an impression on moviegoers as the loving and terrified mother who was anxious that her son would sacrifice himself for the greater good. Ironically, a meteor launched by the Bugs destroys their city, killing both Mr. Rico and his wife, Mrs. Rico, in the process.

Lenore Kasdorf As Mrs Rico
Lenore Kasdorf Now
After a tiny appearance in Starship Troopers, Lenore Kasdorf’s acting career stalled. It’s possible she did a good job as the affluent wife/mother, but it appeared to be her final time taking on that type of role. The only time she was seen on screen was in the 2004 action film Cellular, when she played a “ticket checker,” a role that is about as important as being an extra. We’re sorry to say that’s all we know about Kasdorf at this time, but we wish her well today.

Lenore Kasdorf Now
Denise Richards As Carmen Ibanez
Several of our followers have been anxiously awaiting this moment for quite some time. Denise Richards, the dazzling and ethereally beautiful star of the film, plays the major female role in Starship Troopers. Richards plays Carmen Ibanez, Rico’s major love interest and a valiant and clever military pilot. For a large part of the movie, Ibanez is in orbit attempting to survive bug-launched plasma bombs while her leading man is busy taking care of business on Earth. After crashing on the alien planet, she joins Rico in their fight against the alien ruler in the film’s conclusion.

Denise Richards As Carmen Ibanez
Denise Richards Now
Despite the fact that Starship Troopers is a cult classic, Richards’ performance in the film received mixed reviews from reviewers and moviegoers alike. It wasn’t long after her appearance in Starship Troopers that she was cast as a Bond Girl in the 1999 James Bond picture The World Is Not Enough; she also had major parts in comedies including Undercover Brother, Madea’s Witness Protection, Scary Movie 3, and Love Actually. Richards has married Aaron Phypers and shares wonderful children. That concludes our discussion of the incredible Starship Troopers ensemble. Torres appeared in every episode of Star Trek: Voyager over its entire run of seven seasons. As a result of the show’s cancellation, Dawson, who was in her fifties at the time, went on to star in other shows including Without a Trace, The Division, and The Closer. She’s also an accomplished writer with many books under her belt.

Gates McFadden As Dr. Beverly Crusher
Dr. Beverly Crusher is another amazing female character, and she is portrayed by the beautiful Gates McFadden in the role of Dr. Beverly Crusher. McFadden went on to appear in a total of four more episodes of the franchise, making her a very busy woman. In addition to her appearances on this sci-fi film, McFadden has been on other popular television programs such as NCIS, Family Guy, and Scary Endings. McFadden is also an accomplished lecturer, having delivered talks at the Stella Academy in Hamburg, Harvard University, and the University of Pittsburgh.

Gates McFadden As Dr Beverly Crusher
Anne Ramsay As Ensign Clancy
While Ensign Clancy’s screen time was limited to two episodes, Anne Ramsay went above and beyond to make these appearances stand out. In the episodes “The Emissary” and “Elementary,” Ensign Clancy played a key role. In the future, Ramsay would play Lisa Stemple in the film Mad About You. As part of a comedy series, she received a nomination for a SAG Award for Best Ensemble. In the present day, Ramsay is still involved in the industry to some extent, although it appears that she is preparing to retire soon.
