Inside were images and letters indicating that their relationship had been continuous for years. The evidence was undeniable. Photos of them together, smiling and intimate. Letters about upcoming plans, secret rendezvous, and shared emotions. How did I miss this for so long? My stomach churned as I read the words in those letters, each word piercing my already wounded heart.

As I read more, I concluded that this was more than just an affair. They had been planning a series of lies that would harm not only myself, but others in our lives.
