How to get home?
Ava was still a good distance from home, and there was no way she could wait for another bus at that stop. Fear consumed her, for she feared that the passengers from the previous bus would get off at the next station and come back after her. Desperate to find a solution, she knew she had to get home, but she felt powerless. With no money other than her bus card and being just a girl on her own, Ava found herself trapped. The question that echoed in her mind was: How am I going to do this?
How do I get home?
There’s no other option but to walk
Fortunately, Ava knew exactly where she was and in which direction her house was. Determined to at least get away from the bus route, she started walking in a hurry. She tried calling her mother several times, but as usual, she didn’t pick up, probably busy at work. The sound of the empty ringtone only added to Ava’s despair. Despite everything, she continued on her journey, not knowing what to expect next.
