Here’s a look at the best 50 projects based on the details published by the NCAA.com. The colleges are positioned by the total number of draft picks that they’ve created from 2000 till today. Where there were any ties, we considered the projects by their number of first-round picks.
SEC schools, as this article shows moving forward, have created the most draft picks of this century. Nick Saban and Era Alabama alone have conveyed Jedrick Wills, Minkah Fitzpatrick, Julio Jones, Derrick Henry, Tua Tagovailoa, and Mark Ingram to the NFL.
During the years when Dabo Swinney played, Clemson has always contributed in favor of Vic Beasley and DeAndre Hopkins; with Trevor Lawrence, it’s relied upon to produce a top pick – perhaps the top pick – of the 2021 NFL Draft.
