The children of a now-deceased father found a famous piece of artwork hidden behind a fake wall in the father’s house, done by Norman Rockwell. This was an exceptional discovery, as the painting was never mentioned to anyone, even on their father’s death bed. Turns out he hid the painting from his wife in their divorce and ended up putting a copy on display so she could get that one. The children from Vermont managed to sell the painting on auction, cashing in a whopping $15.4 million!A similar incident occurred in New York, where a man forgot he had a $300 million Michaelangelo painting stored behind his couch! Talk about long term memory loss.
