Informing Michael
Loretta informs Michael and, together, they decide to confront Nicole the following day. At dinner that night, Loretta shares with Michael everything she’s heard. There really is something strange going on, Michael. “We need to have a talk with Nicole,” Loretta declared, her voice laced with concern. Michael agrees, recognizing the importance of a confrontation. We’ll ask her about the call. Michael suggested there might be an explanation. Loretta wants answers.

The confrontation failed to live up to expectations. The next day, when Michael and Loretta approach Nicole, she seems startled by their serious tone. “Nicole, it’s time to discuss something crucial,” Michael begins.
