I’ve done nothing but be faithful to Mrs. Cathy. Michael and Loretta looked at each other, undecided as to what to do next. Nicole’s tears seemed sincere, but could they rely on her words? Loretta felt some opposition and wondered if they were wrong about Nicole.

I’m only passionate about Ms Cathy’s interest. Nicole asserts that she would never do him any harm, with tears in her eyes. She states that the phone call was a personal matter that had no relation to Cathy. “I apologize if I worried you,” she adds. Loretta feels some guilt but remains undecided. Michael is deeply inspired. “We simply wish to ensure Cathy’s safety,” he declared gently.
