The German Matthias Steiner is seen here in a painfully alarming state of collapse which struck as the Olympian was halfway through his attempt to defend his heavyweight title. Almost 432 pounds dropped on Steiner as he failed to keep the barbell aloft. Thankfully, Steiner quickly recovered and assured the onlookers that he was fine with a cheery wave. This was the end of his presence in the bout, however, with Steiner ending up withdrawing.
