Kirk Gibson

August 9, 1995 – Royals at Tigers. Pat Borders, the catcher for the Royals, is plowed into by Kirk Gibson in an accidental crash that sent both men painfully to the ground. While baseball is a relatively peaceful game, accidents are bound to happen. Especially when players desperately rush between bases, where the threat of being caught out turns opposing players in their way into living obstacles. We are not sure if Gibson managed to stay in!

Maurice Stovall and DeMario Suggs

September 21, 2002 – Notre Dame at Michigan St. Maurice Stovall, the wide receiver for Notre Dame, is snapped here a split-second before successfully snatching a touchdown from the opposing DeMario Suggs’ (number 19’s) best efforts. It seemed that Suggs was just a little too late (and a little too low) to properly block Stovall’s catch. This would end up being a fatal failed interception for Suggs and the Spartans in general when the scores hopped to 21-17.
