They could also feature a series of cruise missiles and up to ten torpedo tubes. You’d think that most countries would be scared when they hear this. The United States Navy might be worried about what these submarines can do, but when it comes down to it, they have their eyes on other features that are a little more troubling.

The U.S. is naturally worried about rumors surrounding the Laika class, especially those that suggest that it will come with a brand new weapon called the 3M22 Zircon Hypersonic. This cruise missile will apparently be able to strike naval fleets and land targets, with speeds nearing Mach 9. With this kind of firepower, it will be very difficult to stop an attack from Russian forces, which is why the other superpowers in the world are preparing their own alternatives as a protective measure.
